The MCA Traditional Medicines Program invites speakers and learners of Kanien’keha to a monthly gathering focused on language, culture, and community.
Tsi niionkwarihò:ten’ entewahthá:rahkwe’ tánon’ enkakhwà:rake’ — We are going to talk about our culture and there will be food.
Join us every second Wednesday of the month for thoughtful conversation and a shared meal.

📍 Location: Atsiakta – By the River (89 Rourke Rd, Akwesasne, NY)

MCA Community Health Services would like to remind the community that Tetewatska:hon – Green Food Bag Pickup happens once a month from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility.
Please bring your own reusable bags! Any green food bags not picked up by 5 p.m. will be donated to a local food pantry.

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Community Health Services is proud to offer the Tetewatska:hon – Green Food Bag Program. Each month, Akwesasronon can enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables, and pantry staples for just $20 per bag (limit of 2 bags per person).
🍎 What’s in the bag?
Each bag may include items like onions, apples, potatoes, carrots, bananas, cucumbers, lettuce, and more!
💰 How do I pay?
- Cash: Drop off at Community Health Services (Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility)
- E-transfer: Send payment to etransfer@akwesasne.ca (Include “Green Food Bag,” the month, your name, and contact number in the message.)
Please bring your own reusable bags — no bags will be provided!
